Congresso finale SOLIBAM, Nantes Francia
This event is the final congress of SOLIBAM (2010-2014) which aimed to develop novel breeding approaches integrated with managementpractices to improve the performance, quality, sustainability and stability of crops adapted to organic and low-input systems in Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. The underlying hypothesis is that diverse populations are more resilient to stress and can therefore better adapt to environmentalvariation. Twelve countries and 23 organisations (research and development institutions and breeding and seed companies) are involved in theconsortium. Partners from COBRA (Coordinating Organic plant BReeding Activities for diversity – http://www.cobra-div.eu), a Core-organic IIprogramme, will join the SOLIBAM team and participate to the scientific committee.
